As a beginner you can sometimes make mistakes, now you can of course still do that, but not these kinds of mistakes. But it only gets bad if the printing company does not point out those errors in time.
The design had to be at the printer today (!). “Today?” I said. “Yes today, within an hour, we have to have them the day after tomorrow”. It should happen very quickly. Well … then we cut and paste something (I thought).
Not too much hassle, just flame the text on it and send it to the printer.
And then it goes wrong because there is such a thing as RGB and CMYK. CMYK was the color profile needed for the print shop. Let it be RGB that was set as default, and keep in mind that it had to be fast.
Two days later, the flyers were printed, we were shown what had gone wrong. The blue had turned pink …
In any case, this was the first hardcore flyer to be printed rose! We were ahead of our time.
